I love JBMS too. I TiVo'd all the episodes on Noggin and copied them to a DVD as a birthday present for my son. There is some great stuff on www.noggin.com, and I made a few items at www.cafepress.com. Nothing official, true, but my son doesn't know the difference.

I'm Obssessed with Jack's...we TIVO every episode, and i know every word to every show. My daughter goes crazy for it.

I sent the link to your blog to my husband, also a SAHD. Your interest in Jack's Big Music Show made me laugh because my husband is just as excited about the show as you seem to be, as is our 16 month old who goes into a TV induced trance everytime he hears the theme song! I'm sure if you've been watching Noggin for a while you've also seen Dan Zane's and Friends. Our three year old son loves his Move-to-the-Music videos, so we ordered his CDs 'House Party' and 'Night Time' and they're both awesome! They both come with books that explain each song, it's origin and why it's important to him , and they're all amazingly illustrated by his btother-in-law. They're great to have and a great gift for other parents.

    Enjoy!

Just bought an accidental JBMS-themed gift -- red Chuck Taylors. We were watching the next day and the kid said, "shoes!" during the foot-a-tap sequence. Not an exact match, but close enough to fool a 20-month old.

There was a really good summary of where to get some of the other artists' music on amazon:

Walmart has most of Lauries CD's now. or I just now found them. They are in the toy department.

Don't feel bad about being obsessed with the show! Our household loves this show, too. It is the best children's show on TV!

My friend Danny is the lead singer for Hot Peas 'N Butter and that was how I found the show. My son LOVES it, and I do too! The music is fun and he loves to dance to it and gets so excited. When he sees the menu on the DVR he yells "Jack!" and starts stomping his leg to "give your foot a tap." Great show.

I am 15 months old and I Love Jack's big Music Show. I have watched Jacks since I was 10 months old and I keep asking my Mommy if there are only going to be only 12 episodes or are they going to make more because I go crazy every time they are on and I watch them at least 6 times a day! I would watch more but my Mommy won't let me :-(

Does anyone know if they are going to create more shows next season?

What can I say about JBMS> It ROCKS my son wakes up everyday wanting Jack. I am bumbed and so is my son that noggin only airs 1 show now.I have most of the shows on video now just waiting for the merchandise. hope it arrives soon. I want to JACK out my sons room. Jack has taught my son so much, I recently took him to a toy store for the first time, he did not want cars/trucks boy things he wanted a red guitar. My son rocks. We love jack, mary and of course mel. Rock on!
