Listed below are links to weblogs that reference What good is that baby monitor anyway?:

I'm an almost mother with my fair share of paranoid thoughts about babies and life with babies. My hope for the baby monitor is that it will pick up sounds of gasping or choking. You seem much less prone to that kind of fear. I admire that.

On a more generic note, I dig your site and love seeing it all through a father's eyes. Good with the words, insights and sites. Thanks much. I'll send my husband your way.

Yeah. My wife is far less laissez faire about the monitor than I am. I honestly don't think I would ever wake up or could discern choking sounds over the monitor. But if it makes the mom (or dad feel) better then it certainly isn't hurting anyone.

Thanks for the kind words about the blog.
